Onslow County Cases:

Please be advised that Zacchaeus Legal Services represents Onslow County in this matter.For all questions regarding the legal effect of the tax foreclosure action about which you are inquiring, please seek your own counsel. 

Although we do not discourage you from making payments on the tax bill associated with your case, we cannot make arrangements for you to pay the amount due on an installment basis.Once your case has been referred to us, we must move forward towards either payment of the account in full or sale of the property.You have 30 days from the date you were served with the summons and complaint to take action to protect your rights.

If you desire a payoff amount for your case, please call us @ (252) 448-4541, (then press 1, 9, 3 and 1), during our regular business hours of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8:00am and 5:00 pm, Tuesday between 8:00am and 6:00pm and Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

When you call, please have the following information available:

 

First, locate the taxpayer’s name, found in the top left corner of the front page of the Complaint.Second, locate the tax parcel number, found in paragraph number 4 of the Complaint. Have this information available when you call.

 

If you desire to settle your case, please note that the funds must be in the form of cash or certified funds.Payoffs to be delivered by mail must be made to our office in Trenton.

If you desire to pay off your case at the Jacksonville Office, please inform us of your intentions ahead of time so that that office will be prepared to settle the case with you.
